3D Artist

YOUR RESPONSIBILIITIES:
• Work with Senior Artist/Chief Creative Officer to translate concepts into fully realized designs and assets, and help lead the 3D art pipeline
• Operate fixes on assets that need further adjustments
• Optimize assets, create LODs
• Document assets for marketing purposes
• Apply textures, materials, lighting, rigging, and animations to models / Ui based on design and technical guidelines
• Work carefully to determine optimal formats, scales, pipeline improvements, and other elements for asset export to Unity
• Work closely with Technical Artists and Developers to ensure assets meet technical requirements
• Ask questions, critique others work constructively, and ideate a virtual environment's overall design, in order to raise product quality

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
• 3+ years of 3D modeling experience with a strong portfolio
• Must be highly proficient in Unity and 3ds Max (or similar 3D modeling software equivalent)
• Highly proficient with texturing tools such as Photoshop and Substance Painter
• Familiarity and experience with the entire art pipeline, including animation, effects, texturing, and implementation
• Comfort in breaking your art into its components for character customization and modularization of elements
• Ability to create concept art and effectively translate it to a finished asset in 3D
• Knowledge of scripting, animation, session management, and textures
• Experience with managing game assets and participating in a game asset creation pipeline
